Akshat Chugh from Pune obtained the second rank in JEE Advanced 2017 which is considered to be the one of the toughest examination for the admissions in graduate level engineering courses. Akshat Chughwas also ranked 7th in JEE Main 2017. He also scored 98 percent in CBSE XII Board Examinations. He wrote JEE Advanced exam from the Mumbai zone that was conducted on 21st May 2017. He obtained 335 marks out of 366 in which he got 122 marks in Mathematics, 101 marks in Physics and 112 marks in Chemistry. In JEE Main 2017, he scored 345 out of 360.
He is a fan of popular fictional characters like ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘Flash’. He likes to read books and play video games. His father works in Tata Sky as Vice President.
Q 1. What was the schedule of your study?
Ans 1. I studied regularly in the classes. After coming home I also studied for some time. Then I went to Coaching classes.
Q 2. How did your family support you?
Ans 2. My family members were very supportive. They did not force me to attend any family function. I used to study at home.
Q 3. In which subject did you work very hard?
Ans 3. I worked very hard in Chemistry as I had to remember various things in Chemistry. We had to do hard work and practice in all subject.
Q 4. How did your friends support?
Ans 4. We all were preparing for the JEE examination. We all were classmates. We used to do group study which helped us a lot.
Q 5. What are your future plans?
Ans 5. I want to complete Computer Engineering from IIT Mumbai.
Q 6. What tips would you like to give to the future JEE Advanced aspirants?
Ans 6. The most important thing is practice. We should do practice regularly. If we do not do practice then we will not be able to crack JEE examination.
